A few months before the start of the Corona pandemic, Markus began to deal with the topic of diagnosing rheumatoid arthritis after one of his cousins showed the first symptoms of this disease and now the fourth family member in his immediate circle of relatives suffers from this disease. Thus, in various table discussions, he gained insight into the currently good but very lengthy process of RA diagnosis. From there on, Medirion's journey began, as we got closer and closer to the question: Why is early diagnosis, which is so important, a problem that cannot be solved sufficiently well? In search of solutions, some wonderful people joined this journey, of which Tobias and Philipp eventually became Founder and Co-Founder.

Together we set the goal to move the time frame in the diagnosis of RA strongly forward to make the sustained disease remission in RA a realistic goal.
